2018 Trends in Floral Design

Move over 2017, a new year is coming and it is bringing with it a whole new take on wedding floral design. While some changes may seem like a subtle shift from what we have been seeing on the cover of wedding magazines and all over our favorite floral Instagram feeds, other new trends are going to add a whole new fresh take on the flowers that will adorn your big day.

Tradition of Royal Weddings

With the recent (almost) Royal Wedding between Pippa Middleton and James Matthews, there is not a better time to assess flower trends in royal weddings. At Brown Floral, we look at wedding trends, but more importantly work with exactly what our brides want for flowers on their special day. From Victoria and Albert in 1840 to Kate and William in 2011, and even to Pippa and James earlier this month, there is one trend that transcends the actual type of flowers used in British royal weddings: a pure white bouquet with hints of green foliage.

A Wedding of Whimsy

This wedding  that was held here in Salt Lake City was so dreamy! The flowers featured were Hyndrangea, orchids, ranunculus, succulents, chinamums, lots of foliage, and the Bride even brought in her favorite sagebrush to incorporate in! Everything from the floral crowns and boutonnieres, to the cake and center pieces was absolute perfection.
